Hummel, Ba-Bee Ring wall plaque set. Old name "Hummel, Rings". Originally modeled in 1935 by Reinhold Unger. Girl 30/1/B has a blue hair ribbon. The boy's ring (30/1A) is bright red. The girl's ring (30/1B) is a little more on orange side. The bee painting is extremely detailed. Both pieces have double crown marks and M I Hummel, signature on backs. Rings measures approx. 6" x 5 1/4", TMK-1, Hum 30. No cracks, chips, crazing or repairs. No boxes. See our other auction lots for more rare large and small M.I. Hummel and Goebel figurines. Provenance: From the estate collection of Donald Deeks (1931-2020) of Venice, Florida, who assembled what is purported to be one of the most important collections of rare Hummel figurines in existence. Blackwell Auctions has been commissioned by his family to sell the entire collection of about 2,000 pieces, many of them either unique or nearly so.
