Description
Pair Hummel table or desk lamps. Culprits lamp has a paper label with a crown mark on it. No incised TM. Out of Danger lamp has incised full bee. Girl has black dress, instead of normal blue dress. Both lamps are TW 31 December 1989. Lamps measure approx. 9 1/2" tall to top of tree. Hum 44A and 44B are both TMK2. Crazing present on Culprits lamp, no cracks, chips or repairs. No boxes or shades. Old wiring is frayed and needs replacement. See our other auction lots for more rare large and small M.I. Hummel and Goebel figurines. Provenance: From the estate collection of Donald Deeks (1931-2020) of Venice, Florida, who assembled what is purported to be one of the most important collections of rare Hummel figurines in existence. Blackwell Auctions has been commissioned by his family to sell the entire collection of about 2,000 pieces, many of them either unique or nearly so.
