Bernal resumes in this one card, all the tragedy of tormented Europe. A sword comes out of Germany's heart and places the world in dangerous expectancy; the sword is shown lashing twelve different countries. The allis forced them who had uncovered the sword to put it back in place.

Eight months before the peace was signed, Ignacio Carral Icaza conceived and Antonio Arias Bernal finished drawings in the form of cards in a card deck. Prior to the close of the war, these were also used a propaganda posters. The bright colors and comical caricatures of Hitler and others are clearly representative of Bernal's mastery of his art of World War II.

Notes & Literature: Antonio Arias Bernal "The Brigadier" as he was known ( Aguascalientes , May 10, 1913 - Mexico City, December 30 , 1960 ) was together with Abel Quezada and "El Chango" Cabral the most important Mexican caricaturist of the first half Of the 20th century .He was born in the city of Aguascalientes on May 10, 1913 and died on December 30, 1960 in Mexico City .
