Description
Robert and Bernice Leekya Zuni 1970s Kingman Turquoise, Sterling Silver & Leather Concho Belt - This rare Native American piece was made in the 1970s by renowned Zuni silversmiths Robert and Bernice Leekya. The belt includes (10) sterling silver conchos (including the buckle), which are each decorated with (3) Kingman turquoise measuring 15mm-19mm. They eventually went into the gold jewelry business and have kept these pieces in their private collection for over 40 years. Each concho is stamped with the Leekya's "RBL" maker's mark and "sterling". Measurements: belt-46" length end to end, conchos-2.25"L x 1.5"W.
