Navajo 1970s Benson Yazzie Red Coral & Solid Sterling Silver Rectangle Link Concho Belt - This lovely Native American piece is a 1970s Navajo solid sterling silver concho link belt made by renowned silversmith Benson Yazzie. The belt is comprised of rectangular links decorated with ornate stamp work, rope-twist accents and 7mm-8mm red coral set in sawtooth bezels. According to our seller, her parents started in the Native American jewelry business in 1972, and the family would travel to the New Mexico Native American reservations and purchase pieces directly from the tribes. They eventually went into the gold jewelry business and have kept these pieces in their private collection for over 40 years. Measurements: 40"L x 1.15"W. Condition: The piece is in excellent vintage condition with all stones intact and lovely patina.
