Description
For your consideration is this pair of Acoma Pueblo pottery vessels signed by pueblo artist Isleta, circa 1922, and pueblo artist Margaret Luther. The first vessel shows a coiled handle and geometric decorations adorning the exterior of the vessel; the second vessel has a decoration of an Avanyu, known as a water serpent. The overall condition of these pottery vessels is good, with minor chips to the rim of the smaller vessel and to one of the handles on the larger vessel. The measurements of these pottery vessels are 6 1/2" x 7 1/4" x 5" and 6" x 5" x 4 3/4".
