Description

Pair of clear "aqua" tint glass jars in quart size, with glass tops featuring a unique metal clamp-style closure. One jar's glass is textured and marked "Whitall's Patent June 18th 1861"; the other marked "Moore's patent Dec 3rd 1861". These jars appear to be relatively rare, especially with the full tops and intact closures included with the original jars.

The dimensions are 9.25 in x 3.75 in x 3.75 in. Condition is good, with surface rust and wear on metal part. Please call or email for a detailed condition report.
