Monumental Onyx or Hellmarmor cased glass vase from the Marmoriertes Series by Lotz. The scale of the vase is amazing at 12 1/4" tall. The coloration is gorgeous with swirling colors of white, pink and light brown. The glass resembles marble or semi precious stone. The top and bottom of the vase have an elaborate hand enameled Moroccan / Persian design. The hand enameled filigree lines painted over the stippled Coralene background are a bright bronzy gold which shimmer in the light. Absolutely spectacular antique Loetz glass vase. Circa 1888-1889.

Condition: fleabite on top edge; minimal wear to gold on top of vase

Original Manufacturers Flaws: triangular shaped bubble on bottom of vase; oval bubble on side of vase; other tiny bubbles; tool mark on side of vase
