RICHARD SCHULTZ (1926-) LEATHER, WOOD, AND METAL CHAISE LOUNGE #1966-41 1966 H 34", W 22", L 63" Metal frame. White mesh plastic. Brown leather band on each side. "Property from the sale of unaccessioned items from the Estate of Robert C. Metcalf sold to benefit the University of Michigan Museum of Art." Robert Metcalf was a recognized architect who joined the faculty of the College of Architecture and Urban Planning in 1955, served as chairman from 1968-1974, and as dean from 1974 to 1986, retiring as professor emeritus in 1991.
