Description
Early 19th century. Oil on canvas of a young lady with pitcher after Rebecca at the Well. The piece is a nicely executed image of a woman with a large earthenware pitcher in hand. No apparent signature. Housed in a period gilt frame. The piece has an early reline job which looks to be at the latest 1920s. H35 1/2" W28 1/4" Sold from the collection of the late Mr. Charlie Rose of Virginia and South Carolina.
