Britain or America. Very nicely stitched featuring a family home with floral border accented with birds, dogs and insects. Parrots are stitched at each side of the home's garden, a very elegant touch. The piece having scattered wear consistent with age. Housed in a faux grained frame which does not appear to be of the period but late 19th century perhaps. Sight size: H16 1/2" W15 5/8" (without frame) Sold from the collection of the late Mr. Charlie Rose of Virginia and South Carolina.
