A GERMAN PORCELAIN FIGURAL GROUP, SITZENDORF, EARLY/MID 20TH CENTURY, parcel gilt painted porcelain, manufacturers underglaze blue "S" with crown mark at base back. Height: 10" Width: 18" Depth: 8 1/2" Note: A pair of lovers ride dapple grey horses to a stream where the banks of lush green grasses are filled with blue, purple, red, and yellow flowers. Two dogs bound friskily to the cool waters. The suitor reaches out to embrace the side saddle lady wearing a purple tricorn hat.
Condition
Some apparent repairs mostly at back, base with whitewash, some minor losses, in painting and molding, but overall in good condition, wear commensurate with age.
