Description
These three maidens, one being a warrior was done by artist Kikuguaw Eizan, unsure of date but believed to be c1810. The artist signature and publisher, Nishimuraya Yohachi marks are along right bottom. The frame appears to have been done in the early 1940s by Stanley Halle's Barbizon Frame Shop in Santa Barbara, CA. Visible image measures approx 14 1/2" x 9 3/4", frame approx 19 1/4" x 14 3/4".
Condition
The matte appears to be a veneer and has possible damp staining not examined out of frame, does NOT appear to affect the visible image.
