The Chinese porcelain is finely potted with rounded cavetto elevating steep sides leading to slightly flared rim, raised on footed ring base. The exterior delicately decorated in famille rose hand painting of flowering trees enclosed within round cartouche. Interspersed by dense of tendril foliate against pale-yellow ground adorned with gilt overglazed ring on rims. The interior and underside covered over all in underglazed pale-turquoise-green. Mark on both turquoise-blue underglazed base, a four underglazed red script -KaiShu- characters enclosed within double square borders.
