Description
the canopy supported by six posts, four at the corners and two inset along the front. The posts are joined by a low railing of 12 open-work carved panels depicting chi-dragons and characters for longevity. The bed having a soft bamboo mat set in the rectangular frame, raised above a high recessed waist with short bamboo form vertical struts. The surrounding panels carved to depict chi-dragons and clouds, supported on cabriole legs, terminating in ball and claw feet embellished with the face of the beast.
