Description
Eli Terry & Sons Mantel Clock, Plymouth, Connecticut, circa 1830's, with a mahogany veneer transitional carved column case with a carved eagle at the top, wood dial with Roman numerals and original steel hands, case refinished, label has darkened, replaced tablet and upper glass, the 30-hour movement is a short drop version that was likely used as pillar and scroll production and stopped in favor of the new designs, weights are not original and likely from a brass ogee clock, does not run, strike works if the cord is pulled, 32 x 18 x 4 1/2 inches.
