He taught Edouard Manet amongst others. 5) Joseph Ernest Renan (1823 – 1892)was a Semitic scholar, expert of Semitic languages and civilizations and historian of religion. 6) Paul Henri Corentin Feval (1816 - 1887) was a French novelist and playwright. 7) French gentleman, unidentified. #vintagephotos
