ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE "TYROL" IRONSTONE COFFEE AND TABLE ARTICLES, LOT OF 30, each featuring purple/mulberry transfer with polychrome over glaze enamel decorations featuring image of pagoda-like structures with flowers, comprising two 13 1/2" x 10 1/4" platters, two octagonal form coffee pots, a milk pitcher, ten 7 3/8" D plates, two 9 1/8" D plates, seven cups, and six saucers. Marks include printed "IRONSTONE CHINA / TYROL / J. WEDGWOOD." John Wedgwood, Tunstall, England. 1841-1860. Coffee pot 10" HOA.
Twenty-one undamaged, except a few having minor usage wear or light discoloration and moderate crazing; one coffee pot with two minor flakes to interior gallery; two plates with chips to foot ring, one with chip to rim, and one with moderate glaze exfoliation to rim; one cup with chip to foot ring; three saucers with flake to rim.
