Description
ASSORTED BRASS AND STEEL SURGICAL BLEEDERS, LOT OF FIVE, comprising three large spring-loaded lancets, two with brass case and one with steel case having some light border engraving, each with a spring release bar; and two box-form scarificators with 12 blade openings, one impressed "G. TIEMANN & CO.", fitted in a leather covered partial case, the remaining example with impressed eagle mark. 19th century. Lancets 3 1/2" to 4" LOA.
Very good overall condition with expected usage wear, blade edges with roughness and possible small tip losses, one with spot of corrosion and rust.
