Description
ASSORTED BRASS SCIENTIFIC INSTRUMENTS, LOT OF TWO, comprising an English M. Pillicher pocket barometer, beveled glass over a silvered dial, fitted in original leather case; and an unmarked traveling monocular microscope with folding legs, simple shaft supporting a gimbaled concave mirrored tray, stage and scope, fitted in a mahogany box with hinged cover. Second half 19th century. Scope 8 1/8" HOA, barometer 2" D.
Each in very good condition, barometer with some tarnish and a crease to dial, microscope possibly lacking some components. Cases with expected wear and minor imperfections.
