The print is approx 12" x 12 1/2". Framed art is in a good, vintage condition with some wear on the frame and some scratches on the top left of the frame. The backing paper is discolored from age. This image was used in a 'Maxwell House' advertisement in the 1940s. Grant DeVolson Wood (February 13, 1891 – February 12, 1942) was an American painter best known for his paintings depicting the rural American Midwest, particularly American Gothic (1930), which has become an iconic example of 20th-century American art.
