An African American family posing in front of a log cabin with the caption "All Mine."

Showing a man and four children, the image seems to allude significantly to both family life and home ownership in the decades after the Civil War. Albumen print, the image measuring 4½x7¼ inches (11.4x18.4 cm.), the sheet slightly larger, the cabinet card mount 5x8 inches (12.7x21.3 cm.), with the caption "All Mine," in the negative, and Havens' Jacksonville, Florida backmark on mount verso. 1890
