The series was a reinvention of the 1980s cult hit of the same name, centered around former Army Ranger Mike Traceur who is recruited to protect the super intelligent computer disguised as a sleek Ford Mustang "KITT" from the villains who killed its inventor. This vehicle is a 2008 Ford Mustang GT which was converted for the production to look like the rare King of the Road Shelby. The vehicle was an automatic GT which was converted because the actor was unable to drive the manual transmission of the Shelby. The car has a custom Shelby body kit, interior, wheels, brakes and gauges. The vehicle will be accompanied by a clean Texas title, copy of NBC title, original NBC registration and license plate. Please note: the previous owner of this vehicle modified the car further to make it as close to a stock KR Shelby as possible, removing features from the show such as the steering wheel and scanner light to put on a Shelby steering wheel, etc. All of the items from the production will be included with the vehicle.
