Neoclassical Creme-Peinte, Parcel-Gilt and Marble-Top Side Table

19th century, the rectangular marble top above a conforming frieze with a central urn carving and applied medallions to each side, raised on fluted tapering square legs headed by Ionic capitals and ending in lotus feet.
h. 35", w. 60-1/2", d. 24-1/2"

In very good overall condition. The table is tight and sturdy and free of any movement or wobble. The marble top is in very good condition with a few scattered minor blemishes. No chips or flakes to the molded edge. No evidence of breaks observed. It is a probably replacement. The gilt and polychromy has been renewed. It exhibits minor rubbing and wear.
