Description
First half 19th century, mahogany and pine. Unusual design with arched top having carved beaded edge with scrolled ends and a round opening for a miniature oak keg, possibly for alcohol. Dovetailed case with turquoise paint on back and seven dovetailed drawers with turned wooden knobs. Age split on back, finish wear and repair to arched top. 19"h. 12.5"w. 5.75"d. Keg with loose brass bands is approximately 5"d. 6.5"h. From the Collection of Maxine and Dave Tronnes, Mitchell, South Dakota.
