Description
First quarter 20th century, pine. Mirror frame with classical detail, white enamel repaint, fluted half pilasters with Ionic capital raised applied decoration "Orpheum" across frieze. Most likely from a theater lobby. Some missing moldings and added quarter round. 89.75"h. 49.5"w. 4"d. From the Collection of Maxine and Dave Tronnes, Mitchell, South Dakota.
Condition
03-19-21 2”d. at sides, 4”w. at sides which includes added quarter round. Without the quarter round sides are 3.5”w.
Some areas of edge wear and some shrinkage at joins. Missing side moldings on top two corners and bottom right facing corner. Layers of late white and red enamel paint that has some wear and flaking.
