an American sterling silver example, with a tapering cylindrical body, detachable straining top and cylindrical cap, h. 7", dia. 3"; and
a Continental .800 silver example, with a tapering cylindrical body above a cavetto foot-ring, with detachable straining top and cylindrical cap, all decorated with beaded banding, h. 7-1/4", dia. 3-1/4".

In good condition, with no breaks, repairs or significant dents noted. Very minor bumps and dings consistent with age and use. No monograms or removals noted. Each complete in three pieces: body, straining top and cap. No breaks or losses to the strainers. The sterling example marked (faintly on the underside) "Sterling 925"; the .800 example marked (on the basal edge) "800". An attractive duo.
