" ""The Ninth Defense"". A diorama by William Hitchcock showing the American yacht ""Defender"" leading the ""Valkyrie III"" with all sails set and crews in action. Both vessels are flying mains, three jibs and flying clubs and are shown on the same tack. Defender raced under the New York Yacht Club burgee and Valkyrie III for the Royal Yacht Squadron. Fitted into a custom mahogany display case with table. 62"" long x 30"" deep x 69"" high."
