Three American 19th Century Stoneware Inkwells

Item Details

Description

Three 19th Century American stoneware inkwells, dating from mid to late 19th Century.
The first is an unusual flattened inkwell with a yellow/amber glaze. Some chipping around the bottom edge, and some glaze nicks, but overall good appearance. Measures about 3 1/4" x 1 1/4".
Second is a brown glazed inkwell with a shaved down area on the slightly sloping top. Good condition, any irregularities appear to be "in the making." Measures about 2" diameter by 1 7/8" tall.
Third is an unglazed example showing a nice range of color. Some chipping, mostly on the edges. Measures about 1 3/4" diameter by 1 7/8" tall.
