Description
Boxed Sovereign's Escort for Coronation of Queen Elizabeth. This is Britains largest Post War set, issued 1953, comprising a massive 211 figures. This set is from the Bill Miele Collection, and is the only known complete boxed example of this set. Condition is excellent throughout, in a very good wood and cardboard box. Part of set is tied in, the rest is very well packed, 3 repairs to box lid corners. Also included is a stereo View-Master with 3 circular picture reels of the Coronation, 21 pictures total. Also included is Coronation pamphlet showing the Procession layout. Virtually unique opportunity to own this Britains treasure. Due to size and weight, this set will be shipped in 3 boxes with all mounted figures individually wrapped as well as 67 Royal Marines & Irish Guards separately boxed. ***Additional Shipping charge to be determined due to large lot size (Lot will be shipped in 3 boxes)***
