LONDON – Tate Modern will present a retrospective of Wifredo Lam (1902–1982) – the first for the Cuban modernist painter in London since 1952 – from Sept. 14 to Jan. 8.

Alice finds new wonderland at Geppi’s Entertainment Museum

BALTIMORE – The new Alice in Wonderland exhibit at Geppi’s Entertainment Museum (GEM) showcases more than 200 pieces of Alice memorabilia from the collection of Matt Crandall. The art and sculptures are displayed in multiple sections of the museum, starting in the entryway, then wrapping through the main halls and into exhibit rooms.

NEW YORK – The documents that broke baseball’s color barrier and helped spark the Civil Rights Movement will be on view at the New-York Historical Society for a limited time only, beginning April 15, Jackie Robinson Day.
