SANTA FE, N.M. – More than 800 lots of American Indian artifacts, art and related collectibles will all come up for bid Aug. 12-14 at the 2016 Best of Santa Fe auction. Best of Santa Fe is an annual event hosted by Allard Auctions Inc., based in St. Ignatius, Montana.

American Indian Museum still stalled 1 year after agreement

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – It’s been more than a year since Gov. Mary Fallin signed legislation authorizing the city of Oklahoma City to complete and operate the unfinished American Indian Cultural Center and Museum.

MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa (AP) – Local businessman Jonathan Hull says he’s always had the “collecting bug” in him ever since his days collecting coins and stamps as a kid. After his older brother brought home an old bottle after a trip to Wyoming, a then 12-year-old Hull got interested in conducting his own “archaeological digs” in the hunt for similar pieces.
