NEW YORK – Capo Auction Fine Art and Antiques in Long Island City will begin the 2016 auction season on Saturday, Jan. 23, with an impressive selection of furniture. Also at Capo Auction’s January winter sale will be contemporary and modern art, silver, bronze, jewelry, Asian antiques and unique decorative items.

In the fine art arena this month Capo Auction is offering a Natalia Dumitresco (French/Romanian, 1915-1997) abstract oil on canvas painting, signed and dated 1958, which carries an $8,000-$10,000 estimate.
