NEW YORK – A Cartier 18K gold and sapphire lion brooch, a Van Cleef & Arpels Ludo 18K gold and diamond link bracelet, and a large set of fan-shaped 18K gold and diamond earrings by Verdura should claim top lot status at Jasper52’s Designer Jewelry and Watches sale, which will take place on Wednesday, May 18, at 8 pm Eastern time. Other lots in the sale include a Cartier 18K rose gold, diamond, rubelite, amethyst and onyx ring; a Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co bangle bracelet in 18K gold, with pink sapphires and enamel; a Patek Philippe platinum, diamond and emerald ring; and a unique Jean Mahie 22K gold necklace.

Equally alluring is a Chanel Crush 18K gold bangle bracelet that measures two inches wide; a Barry Kieselstein-Cord 18K gold bangle bracelet sculpted with alligator heads on each end; several examples of Bulgari’s iconic 18K gold Tubogas Snake bracelet watch; an opera-length strand of cultured Akoya Golden pearls by Mikimoto; and a charming 18K gold ring by Van Cleef & Arpels featuring two duck heads carved from coral.
Leading the highlights is a Van Cleef & Arpels Ludo 18K gold and diamond link bracelet, which looks for all the world like someone lifted a section of the Yellow Brick Road, polished it, and fashioned it into a loop. It features 17 brilliant round cut diamond of VVS1 clarity and E color, and it comes with a certificate of authenticity from Van Cleef & Arpels and a box. The piece is estimated at $59,373-$64,770.
Verdura fan-shaped 18K gold and diamond earrings, est. $37,797-$41,234
Another standout comes courtesy of Verdura: a large set of fan-shaped 18K gold and diamond earrings. Created for pierced ears, they are graced with 222 round brilliant cut diamonds of VVS1 clarity and E color, and have a total weight of 1.50 carats. The earrings carry an estimate of $37,797-$41,234.
Completing the highlights is an 18K gold and sapphire lion brooch by Cartier, sculpted in the shape of a lion face with strands of its mane radiating like the rays of the sun. Two sapphires distinguish its eyes. Its estimate is $28,962-$31,595.
