Dessin Fournir is a venerable manufacturer known for taking inspiration from classic European designs from many periods. This pair of Griswold cabinets by Dessin Fournir features classic Chinoiserie styling and a crackled lacquered finish detailed with 22K gold leaf. They were specially made for one of the world’s top bariatric surgeons, Shawn Garber, and come directly from his Gold Coast (Long Island) home. They are estimated at $64,000-$77,000.

Hugues Claude Pissarro (b. 1935-) comes from a family with an abundance of talented members, including his grandfather, noted Impressionist Jacob Abraham Camille Pissarro (1830-1903). Hugues Claude Pissaro was even commissioned to paint a portrait of then-President Dwight Eisenhower.

His work Le Bouquet Au Vase Bleu from 1960 measures 32in by 25-5/8in and is unframed. It has direct provenance to a 1967 Christie’s sale, where it realized $27,400. It carries an estimate of $39,000-$47,000.
