Hindman appoints jewelry & timepiece specialist in Palm Beach

PALM BEACH – Hindman Auctions announces the appointment of April Matteini as a Specialist for Jewelry and Timepieces, based in its Palm Beach office. Matteini is a Graduate Gemologist (GIA) who specializes in evaluating and appraising fine antique, estate jewelry and gemstones. Matteini will provide streamlined services for Hindman jewelry clients throughout Florida. She brings to her position more than 25 years of jewelry appraisal and auction house experience, combined with exceptional customer service skills.
Prior to joining Hindman, Matteini served as Bonhams Vice President for the Florida region and as the Regional Director for Skinner. In these roles, she expanded the companies’ presence in Florida, sourced property for auction from private and institutional clients and offered appraisal services including evaluating a range of material from individual pieces of fine jewelry to entire estates.

Hindman is currently accepting consignments for our February 10 Palm Beach Jewelry auction, and spring Essential Jewelry and Important Jewelry auctions. Hindman conducts more than 100 auctions annually and appraises thousands of objects throughout the year, in addition to handling major single-owner collections.
