NEW YORK – On April 11, Auctions at Showplace will kick off its spring 2021 auction season with a sale featuring fine jewelry from a 79th Street estate including Angela Cummings, Cartier, Marina B., Asprey, Tiffany & Co., and others. Also of note is a collection of photography from the collection of New York Live Arts, including several images of artistic director Bill T. Jones. A Meissen porcelain chinoiserie nodder figure leads a selection of decorative arts from a 57th street estate, and the fine art section spotlights a Sigmund Menkes painting and an unusual Jenny Holzer LED sculpture.
