NETHY BRIDGE, Scotland – Bob Dylan, one of America’s greatest songwriters, rose to fame during the 1960s with hits such as Blowin’ in the Wind and The Times They Are A-Changin’. His songs captured the tumultuous spirit of the time and became anthems for the anti-war and civil rights movements. The winner of 10 Grammy awards, an Academy Award, a Pulitzer Prize, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom, Dylan has sold more than 145 million albums and performed more than 3,000 shows. Now 82, Dylan continues to tour, having recently wrapped up his European concert series. In addition to his musical career, Dylan has published nine books of paintings and drawings and his visual art has been exhibited at major galleries. For the last 17 years, he has owned a stately mansion known as Aultmore House in Nethy Bridge in the Cairngorm National Park in Scotland. Unable to visit it since the Covid-19 pandemic, Dylan has listed the property for sale, accepting offers in excess of £3,000,000, or $3.9 million.

LOS ANGELES – For more than 50 years, the London-born-and-raised Rod Stewart’s distinctive raspy voice and charismatic stage presence have made him a beloved and very successful artist. His songs Mandolin Wind, Tonight’s the Night, Forever Young, and Maggie May have provided a soundtrack to generations from baby boomers to Generation Z. As popular in the United States as he is in his native England, Stewart is still delighting audiences everywhere, especially in his ongoing Las Vegas show that began in 2011 and resumes in November. One of music’s biggest stars, Stewart’s Los Angeles home is also huge, with 13 bedrooms and 28,500 square feet on more than three acres of prime North Beverly Park turf. The home is currently for sale at $70 million.

LOS ANGELES – One of the world’s greatest comedy stars, Jim Carrey’s expressive face and high-energy slapstick performances propelled him to success in the film franchises Dumb and Dumber, The Mask, and Ace Ventura. Far from being typecast as a jokester, the Canadian-born actor would go on to achieve critical acclaim for dramatic roles in The Truman Show and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. The winner of two Golden Globes and eleven MTV Movie and TV Awards, he has also published an award-winning children’s book, co-wrote the novel Memoirs and Misinformation and portrayed Joe Biden on Saturday Night Live. In 2022, he announced that he was taking a break from acting and was considering retirement. The prolific star has relocated to his vacation property in Maui and put the Brentwood estate where he had lived for the last 30 years up for sale.

LAS VEGAS – Magicians Siegfried Fischbacher and Roy Horn, known professionally as Siegfried and Roy, met while working on the same cruise ship. They soon turned their mutual love of animals into a dazzling stage show featuring tigers and toured the European club circuit. Invited to perform in Vegas in 1967, they made the city their home for the rest of their lives. The duo headlined at the Mirage from 1990 to 2003. The Mirage show was famous for featuring white lions and tigers, but was closed when one of the tigers mauled Roy during the show. Siegfried succumbed to Covid-19 in 2020, and Roy’s death from cancer followed shortly afterward, prompting the sale of their spectacular Vegas compound.

Located on Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue adjacent to Central Park, Walters lived there from 1989 until her death in 2022 at age 93. NEW YORK – HBO’s critically acclaimed series Succession follows the lives of the Roy family, heirs to a global media and entertainment conglomerate known as Waystar Royco, as they squabble for dominance in the wake of their father’s declining health. Awarded both the Golden Globe and Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series in 2020 and 2022, the four-season show earned 24 additional Emmy awards, including Outstanding Lead Actor for Jeremy Strong, who plays Kendall Roy. LOS ANGELES – Rihanna is the new owner of a 40th-floor Los Angeles penthouse in the celebrity-approved, paparazzi-proof, 42-story the Century condominium building. The penthouse was formerly owned by Matthew Perry, who sold it in 2021 for $21.6 million. Rihanna paid $21 million for the four-bedroom, 9,290-square-foot condo. She has been a resident of the Century since 2014 in a much smaller unit; she will gain one more bedroom, three more bathrooms, and almost 6,000 additional square feet with her new, higher-floor pad.
