MANCHESTER, N.H. – The New Hampshire Antiques Dealers Association (NHADA) has announced that the 64th annual edition of the New Hampshire Antiques Show will take place in person this summer. The event will be held August 12-14 at the DoubleTree Hilton in Manchester, New Hampshire. A total of 65 vetted dealers, all members of the NHADA, are expected to appear at the 2021 New Hampshire Antiques Show.
“This is a one-of-a-kind show that both the exhibitors and patrons look forward to all year long, so we are so grateful to return to a live, in-person show this year,” said NHADA president Tommy Thompson. Every safety and CDC guideline will be strictly followed including mask wearing and social distancing. Wearing masks may be new, but the show will once again feature the finest exhibitors from all over the country with high-quality antiques that every level of collector will appreciate. Exhibitors offer a wide range of country and formal antique furniture and accessories including clocks, folk art, paintings and prints, textiles, woodenware, nautical and scientific items, metalware, glassware, pottery and ceramics, early lighting, samplers, Shaker furniture and accessories, decoys, architectural and garden ornaments.
Two new exhibitors that will be joining the show this year: Sheridan Loyd American Antiques and Jeffrey Tillou Antiques.
Sheridan Loyd has been in the antiques business since 1988, exhibiting at quality antique shows throughout the country since 1994. “I am continuously searching for fine examples of American folk art, high country, formal and paint-decorated furniture, smalls, hooked rugs, painting and accessories from the 18th and 19th centuries,” Loyd said.
Jeffrey Tillou Antiques was established in Litchfield, Connecticut in 1992. Jeffrey has an extensive inventory of Americana from the 18th and 19th centuries that includes paintings, furniture, folk art, weathervanes, sculpture, Oriental carpets, and related decorative pieces as well as distinctive European and original works of art. “I like to think of my gallery as a destination for established collectors as well as young collectors who are looking to incorporate the beauty, integrity and fascinating history of period pieces into historic contemporary surroundings,” Tillou said.
The NHADA is one of the largest and most respected antiques organizations of its kind, with nearly 200 in-state and out-of-state members dedicated to integrity and courtesy in their business dealings and to an awareness and appreciation of antique objects.
