NEW YORK – After a two-year hiatus, Americana & Antiques @ the Piers has returned to the calendar of events produced by Stella Show Mgmt. Co. Designed to coincide with Antiques Week in New York, the 2010 show is scheduled for January 23-24, 2010.

“We are very pleased to have this show again. It has been sorely missed by our exhibitors and our customers,” said Dorothy Stella, president of Stella Shows. “The piers were not available in January for several years. Now that dates have changed, we can have Pier 92 for Antiques Week in New York again.”

There is a wide variety of antiques events on the Stella Show Mgmt. Co. 2009/10 calendar. Coming soon is Antiques & Design in the Hamptons, a benefit for the Bridgehampton Historical Society, August 14-15-16. This stunning show is the summer outpost of Stella’s chic and cutting-edge NYC shows held at the Gramercy Park Armory. Fifty smart, trend-setting dealers who exhibit at the armory set up extravagant booths in elegant big white tents on the lawn of the Historical Society, and bring their best to their Hamptons customers who look forward to this show each year.

Now in its fourth year, a very different show and one of the most colorful Stella events is the Country Living Fair, September 18-19-20, in Columbus, Ohio. Included in the array of artisans and workshops are dozens of country antiques dealers, many of whom have been featured in the pages of Country Living magazine.

Fall brings another edition of the popular Modern Show to New York City at the Armory in New York’s Gramercy neighborhood. This event is consistently successful, with exhibitors from around the U.S., England and France presenting a stunning display of important 20th-century art and design. The show dates are October 16-17-18.

A month later the always exciting, eagerly anticipated Pier Show once again takes over Pier 94 with 500 dealers offering booths chock full of art, antiques, fashions and collectibles from all periods and all price ranges. “Despite a gloomy economy, lines were out the door as far as the eye could see at our March show” said Dorothy Stella. “We were so happy that many dealers reported brisk sales.” Now New York leads the way as an atmosphere of cautious optimism over an improving economy begins to grow. Stella Show Mgmt. and its exhibitors are hopeful that this year’s show on November 14-15 will prove to be another successful, exciting antiques event.

The New Year will start off with Antiques at the Armory, January 22-23-24, 2010, the gem of an armory show that Stella presents each January in Gramercy Park. Enormously successful since 1995, the show offers some of the finest and most affordable American, European and Asian antiques to be found during Antiques Week in New York. Stella Shows produces this event on the same weekend as their Americana & Antiques @ the Piers.

March 13-14, 2010 will find Stella back on Pier 94 with the Pier Antiques Show.
