MANCHESTER, N.H. – Some things never get old, like the Annual New Hampshire Antiques Show, which is back for its 62nd year. This year boasts 67 exhibitors from all over the country showcasing some of the finest displays of antique jewelry, folk art, furniture, fine and decorative arts, and more. Held at the Double Tree by Hilton (formerly the Manchester Downtown Hotel) from Aug. 8 through Aug. 10, highly reputable dealers will join together with thousands of buyers and enthusiasts in search of high-quality antiques while enjoying New Hampshire’s tax-free state.

“We all have many regular buyers that come back year after year,” said Tommy Thompson, president of the board of directors for the New Hampshire Antique Dealers Association. “These dealers are informed art and antiques experts. You aren’t just buying an item; you’re buying a piece of history, so expect to be engaged at the show,” added Thompson.

The New Hampshire Antiques Show closes a week-long celebration of antique events known as Antiques Week in New Hampshire, and is a well-known tourism draw for the state, attracting passionate dealers and collectors from all around the country. The show’s organizers and dealers prepare all year long attracting a variety of goods and acquiring inventory pleasing to all levels of collectors. Booths are restocked throughout the three-day event, so visitors will want to take advantage of the free return visit with initial admission fee.

Admission is $15 on Thursday, $10 on Friday and Saturday. Visitors under 30 (with proper ID) are admitted free and as always, there are free return visits to the show after initial admission.

Show hours are Thursday, Aug. 8, and Friday, Aug. 9, from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., and Saturday, Aug. 10, 10 a.m. – 4 pm. For more information, visit www.nhada.org.
