STRASBURG, Pa. – Looking for some summer fun in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania? Visit the quaint town of Strasburg and enjoy these special events this month:

Rolling Antique Auto Show, July 20, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

From Stanley Steamers to Plymouths and Cadillacs, more than 20 antique cars dating back to 1918 will be rolling around Strasburg Rail Road for visitors to explore and admire. You’ll also see the cars in motion and hear stories of days-gone-by as the car owners tell tales of their favorite ride.

From the train, watch the antique autos take to the field, racing alongside the massive engine from Esbenshade Road to the Cherry Crest Adventure Farm. See the historic cars and their owners reenact typical scenes from the past.

There are no special tickets for this event. Simply purchase your ticket to ride the train on July 20 through 3 p.m. Train departures begin at 11 a.m. For more information visit http://strasburgrailroad.com/the-antique-auto-show-run.php.

Great Train Robbery, July 28, 5 p.m.

Get ready for an afternoon filled with adventure, fun and steam trains. Strasburg Rail Road welcomes all passengers to enjoy a pleasant hour-long ride through lovely Amish Country. However, passengers aboard this train should be on guard. “Federal agents have been tipped off that a sophisticated group of robbers, with special skills in safe cracking and with a dynamite flair, have been seen in the area,” a Strasburg Rail Road press release warns.

This interactive ride is designed to “rob you poor,” the release continues. “Pay attention, because the action can happen anywhere. All real money “donated” to our robbers will benefit Make-A-Wish® Philadelphia & Susquehanna Valley. For more information visit http://strasburgrailroad.com/great-train-robbery.php.
