Easy transaction.

I call their office to set up shipment for my lot and the owner of Los Angeles Estate Auctions was very helpful and responsive in his communication with me. Ge spent a few days answering questions through text message so I could arrange a pick up order for UPS. I was really blown away when he offered to ship it himself to me and front the shipping cost. Which was an amazing gesture to do for someone he doesn’t know. I really appreciate what he did! Your experience may differ from mine. But what I can guarantee is incredible communication, professionalism and helpful accommodation.

As far as dealing with the auction house, everything was perfect. My issue is with your shipping company. One of the items I purchased (machine man artwork) was received damaged (bent corner). Unfortunately someone did not sandwich the artwork between 2 pieces of cardboard (although the comic that I purchased was) and was basically just placed in a box without any protection. This is by no means the auction house’s fault.

My item was as described and I love it! Shipping was very reasonable and they quickly put me in contact with a shipping company.

I had the best experience with this auction house. I won a designer bag and found the photos to be perfectly accurate and helpful. Payment was a breeze and pickup was easy (arranged with a single phone call). When I picked the bag up, the team was super friendly and organized. They even gave me the scoop on upcoming auctions. I’ll definitely bid with them again!

LAEA was very helpful both via email and on the phone in connection with shipping issues. Ours was not a "big" acquisition and we were treated with respect and clarity about the process as though we were veteran bidders/winners. A very positive experience.

I placed a bid for a group of early Netherlands. My winning bid was extremely low so I expected some of the stamps to have minor faults. That was not the case. Virtually all of the stamps in this lot are sound. When I showed the lot to a fellow collector he just shook his head and asked where I got the lot. I told him about Live Auctions and he said he would check out the website.
