I would think twice before I bid in their auction again, due to the charges above the hammer price on one invoice then get charge on a second invoice for shipping and insurance. when i called the person directed me to the web site to do all transactions with billing. buying coins from a auction house is something I do not want to deal with after my experience.

Terrible. Difficulty getting item "crated". Auction house did not clearly explain lack of assistance with crating item and shipping arrangements.

I recently won a lot from this auction house. I purchase about 40 to 50 lots a months from multiple auction houses all over the world on a monthly basis, and this is by far the worse I have ever seen in the past 10 years. The lot was clearly misrepresented, with a wrong title, wrong description, as if the people working here have little to no knowledge of what they are selling. But is that so? They posted images ripped out of a modern book in their main images, and listed they as Woodblock prints or Japanese prints. How shady one can be to perform such actions? Their terms shows return accepted, but this is not even a return, this is a clear case of misrepresentation, and now that the lot has arrived, they bail out from their shady terms and condition. My advice: stay away from this auction house or be prepare to receive garbage at your own expenses.

Damaged print from broken glass in shipping

I've purchased many items via Live Auctioneers over the years, and the biggest inconvenience, by far, is shipping. Most auction houses do not provide in-house shipping for items won, and the ones that do aren't always very good at packing or otherwise seem well organized. This is not the case with Nest Egg; with them, the entire transaction from A to Z was seamless and easy, and they know how to pack and ship properly and quickly. If only all auction houses were like Nest Egg... Truly. They set the standard. A + across the board.

The auctioneer agreed to meet me at my convenience for pick up. Very helpful and nice to do business with.

I was very impressed with some of the unique selections available in their auction and enjoyed the overall experience. Looking forward to next auction.
