Nest Egg Auctions is the most honest and forthright auction houses I have ever dealt with over the past 20 years. Their item descriptions are spot on, they have publicly stopped an auction due to a seller bidding on their own items. Ryan, MaryEllen, Chris and crew have always been professional, knowledgeable and just great people. They will continue to have my business in the coming years.

Ryan at Nest Egg Auction went above and beyond to help me get my item back to Chicago. Due to the very high cost of shipping. I was able to use my airline discount to fly out to Newport, Ryan had the item brought to the Airport, I was able pack it my self and carry the item on the aircraft. I have never an other Auction House that was more Pleasant and helpful. Thank you

One and done with this auction house!! Bought 3 lots of open salts, 2 lots had multiple salts and the other was a single salt. Two of the three lots had damage (missing stones to the holder and another with a noticeable flea bite to the glass) that were NOT NOTED in the listing. Also felt I was gouged with shipping cost. Eight salts were double boxed, which I appreciated, and I was billed $35.00. This is way excessive considering the size and weight of package. None of the salts were wrapped tightly in bubble wrap but just placed in the box like "good enough" attitude. Three of the salts actually fell out of the bubble wrap during shipping to illustrate the poor packaging that was part of my $35.00 shipping fee. Auction houses are discouraging on-line bidding and losing potential customers when shipping cost like this are billed. Auction house offered full refund on merchandise or nothing, why not a partial refund for the 2 salts misrepresented since I wanted all 8 salts from the beginning? Overall, bad experience and won't be back.

I have dealt with Nest Egg Auctions for several years and have always found them to always be profession and reliable. Their item photos and descriptions are spot on and their delivery of items I have bought has been speedy, with excellent packing.

Everything was wrapped securely with bubble wrap and double boxed. It cost more to ship this way, but you don’t have to worry about those rare items arriving broke. Overall experience was great. I highly recommend and will continue to shop here.

They are a superior auction house that provides great merchandise, honest accurate appraisals and listings, and equally great customer service. I was neutral on accuracy only because I'm currently overseas and I've yet to see my purchase:)-but am confident in regards. As for my experience with Nest Egg during & after, it was excellent. Being a true absentee I wanted to connect with them before the auction just to feel it out and they were right on top of emails & questions; straight answers, no drag time! Also-Liveauction for me was critical as I ultimately needed to bid live. All good.

There were no issues or concerns

The size of the pottery was incorrect. I utilized the UPS store 0959 for the shipment. I received the pottery and it had been completely destroyed. (12 large pieces and numerous small pieces) I have received many shipments of antiques over the years and never had a pot destroyed as this one. Having a piece of pottery destroyed, which has survived over 120 years, by miss handling is heartbreaking. My insurance claim may be even more challenging.

Very unhappy customer. I had won lot 0090 was sent an email confirmation to that effect. I went to pick up the items I won and the calcite crystals with pyrite crystals was apparently sold to someone else. After I picked up the items I won I was sent an email that I picked up said item. The auction house was apologetic but this sort of thing should not be happening. I am always Leary buying items online and this has fortified that fact. I would have to say that I will try to circumvent using live auctioneers from here on in. Thank you. Frank . **********
