April 28th, 2012 at 10:00 am Full color catalogs available for $20.00 ppd. in the USA April's sale has a great mix and variety of Posters, porcelain, paintings and prints along with toys, advertising, folk art and Americana and Black Americana. Carved Soapstone, Porcelain from KPM, Rosenthal and others. The best selection of Posters we have had to date; French Automotive, Early Circus, Magic, Advertising and Movie. A selection of Clocks. A wonderful set of large wood folk art Popeye figures including all the characters. Alsao included in this sale are over 50 original Animation Cels from the 40's up; most from Warner Bros. Studio. This sale has our best selection to date of over 100 Posters, headlined by an original 1899 Alphonse Mucha LA TOSCA in untouched perfect condition! Early Strobridge posters for Barnum & Bailey and Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey, Some great Friedlander and other European posters in this sale. Americana section also includes some good ephemera. A feature item is a rare C-1880 cased Faro set with card press and shoe by Will & Finck of San Francisco; set also has a Moore's Pat. Derringer with presentation engraving from "Epley to Reid"
