Description
Possibly Mantua, Ohio, c. 1825. GII-33, colorless, pontil mark. 3.5" high. Provenance: American Glass Gallery (this may be the pitcher sold in Auction 22, lot 87). This lot is eligible for pick-up or in-house shipping. Please contact us for a quote.
Condition
There is some very very minor roughness on the outside edge of the tail of the handle. It is not visible to the naked eye, but can be felt. The second is about 12 spots about the size of a grain of sand and smaller. They feel rough when you run your finger across them. The total area involved is about 1/16 x 1/8 inches. There is a rough pontil as should be expected and someone wrote 32 on the bottom. Is suspect that was to identify the pattern number.
