**First Time At Auction**

Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to early 5th century CE. A fine group of 26 iron arrow tips and a set of brass tweezers. The petite tweezers have a pair of slender arms that still pinch as well as a narrow scoop on the opposite side. Included with the arrow tips are 9 with inverted V-shaped heads with broad fins; 6 with spade-shaped heads; 5 with solid, four-sided heads; 5 with three-sided heads; and 1 with an elongated, diamond-shaped head. Some arrow tips have tapered socketing shafts, while others have slender tangs. Size of largest (spade-shaped head): 1.375" W x 5.125" H (3.5 cm x 13 cm)

Repair to petite area of socketing shaft of one V-shaped arrow tip, with light adhesive residue along break lines. All arrow tips have minor nicks, abrasions, and encrustations. Great patina throughout.
