(Disneyland, c.1980s) A free-standing wooden store display from Geppetto's Arts & Crafts in Disneyland's Fantasyland. The front and right sides of the display are finished with decorative wooden slats, the open back is equipped with a pair of shelves, and the left side is unfinished where the case abutted a wall or a similar display. The upper portion of the unit is a display case with glass panes at top, right, and front, and a mirror on the left to accentuate the objects store therein. A locking cabinet door on the back of the display opens downward on a horizontal hinge to access the case. The original Disneyland prop ID tag is still adhered inside. Measuring 44.25"x38" and 17.5" deep, the wooden store display is in good condition exhibiting nicks, chips, extraneous screw and nail holes, scratches to the wood, faint scratches to the glass, areas of finish loss, and general wear. The unfinished right side of the piece has some stripping and splintering to the exposed board. The velvet on the display boards exhibits some patches of wear.
