Provenance: The Reader's Digest Association Inc. (this is original illustration art that was reproduced in the November 1972 issue of Reader's Digest to accompany a condensed version of Gordon Prange's 'Miracle at Midway,' a sequel to his critically acclaimed study of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor 'At Dawn We Slept.') Condition: unframed. Image, 26 1/2 by 19 1/2 inches; the board overall, 28 3/4 by 21 3/4 inches.
